Phillip "Ripper" Lamb

Ripper started in an all-white 210hp RV-8 he built, he is currently in the flying a new RV-4 that he rebuilt. He is a native of Blue Springs, MO and grew up with a passion for aircraft, from R/Cs' to the real thing. He has retired from the Kansas Gas Service after 31 years. Formation flying has become an extreme passion, which includes training, promoting, scheduling events and helping KC Flight grow which is the goal for all our team members. He formed KC Flight into a 50103 in 2014 to help make the organization more able to help out communities and local charities. He is married Heather Lamb and they have 6 children, and 10 grandchildren. Ripper is a 5000-hour Commercial pilot with over 4250 hours of tailwheel aircraft time.
