1200-1645: Registration/Sign-in, Pay Landing Fee $80 Cash

1700-1830: MANDATORY In-Brief (All Pilots)

1830 - KC Flight Social Hour / Dinner Provided - FBO

0700: Preflight & ready airplanes

0730: Briefing #1
1000: Briefing #2
1130: Lunch at KMBY  (provided)
1230: Briefing #3
1430: Briefing #4 (Including check rides for pilots with prior
recommendation.)

1630: Briefing #5 If desired

1845- KC Flight dinner TBD, Payment for Dinner TBD. 

Sunday, :

0830: All-up briefing. (Pilots not qualified will ride as passengers)
1000: All-up flight
1115: All-up flight debrief and closing remarks

1200: Pay fuel bill & depart for home

 

Schedule and Information

All pilots attending their first clinic (Newbies) or who have not been released to fly solo should arrive at KLXT between 1200–1500 on Friday. Orientation rides for first time clinic attendees will take place on Friday afternoon, last land time NLT 1615 so as to be on time for mandatory In-Brief at 1700.  This will allow refueling and tie down, sign-in etc.. Please pay your $80 landing fee at sign-in. You are also required to sign a waiver with a witness for this event. We do require you to sign the waiver on site.  Every participating pilot must sign the waiver, no exceptions. Please have insurance, medical, registration, annual etc. up to date. 

Friday Recommendation Flights

If you need a recommendation flight to take a check ride you must let us know in advance so it can be arranged for Friday afternoon. 

1230: Brief #1 practice/recommendation flight

1430: Brief #2  more practice or checkride

 

(KLXT) Airport

 

The main ramp is large with plenty of tie downs. But bring your own ropes and chocks. The FBO has been relocated to the SouthWest end of airport in the big grey hangar. Briefings will remain in old FBO near the fuel pumps. The big grey FBO hangar has plenty of room if needed for inclement weather. Check NOTAMS before take-off.
