Dan "Flower" Wahl

Dan Wahl's callsign came pretty quick with his quiet demenor, "Wahl Flower" shortend to "Flower". Dan was 19 when he started flying lessons. He earned his pilot's license in 1995. Then in 1999 he became instrument rated and in 2017 obtained his commercial license. He purchased a new Game Bird and has been receiving aerobatic instruction from Sean Tucker. He has logged over 3000 flight hours in his 24 years of flight experience. Dan has owned and flown 8 different airplanes through his years. In 2015 he joined KC Flight after hearing about the team and watching fly overs at sporting events. He is a native of Blue Springs, MO where he met his wife Sonia in high school when she was 15, they then dated in College, they have 2 sons and future daughter-in-law. Dan owns a real estate company, buys and sells apartment complexes that he manages. A fun random fact is Dan's first date with his wife of 23 years was a flight to dinner.
