Jeffrey Suhr is an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner, Delta Air Lines First Officer, and retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel whose aviation career spans military, airline, flight test, and general aviation operations.
During his Air Force career, Jeffrey flew the F-15 Eagle and B-2 Spirit, as well as remotely piloted aircraft, serving in roles that included instructor pilot, evaluator pilot, and operational test pilot. His experience across multiple Air Force communities gives him a firsthand understanding of military aviation training, evaluation, and the qualifications military aviators bring into civilian aviation.
Today, Jeffrey flies for Delta Air Lines, serves as an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner, and is an FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) Representative, continuing to support pilot certification, education, and aviation safety.
