Since 2009, the KC Flight Formation Team has exhibited high-precision, close-proximity formation flight at events and airshows nationwide. Founded by Bill "BeeGee" Gill, our pilots are trained to FFI standards — maintaining the exceptional coordination and safety the team is known for.

The Team Behind the Formation
Every pilot on the KC Flight Team is FFI certified and committed to maintaining the highest standards of formation flying. Each pilot owns and operates their own Van's RV aircraft — one of the most capable and aerobatic platforms in civilian aviation, chosen specifically for its performance and manueverability.
Together our pilots bring tens of thousands of combined flight hours, diverse aviation backgrounds, and a shared dedication to the discipline that makes KC Flight one of the most experienced civilian formation teams in the country.

Formation Clinic
Each year KC Flight hosts an annual formation flying clinic open to certified pilots looking to develop or sharpen their formation skills. Training is conducted to FFI standards under the guidance of our experienced team. Whether you're new to formation or looking to refine your technique — this clinic is for you.
Beyond the flying, the clinic is an opportunity to connect with a community of pilots who share a passion for precision aviation. Past participants have come from across the country, ranging from seasoned aviators looking to add formation to their logbook to active pilots seeking to refine skills they already have.
